Training saves lives, and our system at R.D.S.® is one of the most advanced, battle-tested self-defense programs in the world. As such, it is one of the most sought-after self-defense programs offered in the country by civilians, law enforcement, military groups, and special forces. While training at one of our several convenient locations within the State of Arizona is available to those who reside in Arizona, we know it is not enough. We believe everyone needs the opportunity to train, become safer, and protect their loved ones. In essence, we believe that the world needs more “sheepdogs” – those with the knowledge and training to lead and protect others in the face of an ever more dangerous world. As such, we have expanded our self-defense programs beyond Arizona to offer our award-winning training to all who seek it. Our solution is U-R.E.A.C.T.®
U-R.E.A.C.T.® is our University or gateway to private groups and corporations outside of Arizona who want the most advanced self-defense training. We offer shorter time blocks with seminars tailored to fit company needs, and each incorporates portions of Krav Maga and our Tactical Black® program.
Tactical Black® is our advanced training system comprised of our experience with law enforcement and the military over the last 20 years, along with our expertise in Krav Maga. This program focuses on defenses against weapons, active shooter, weapon retention, and 3rd party protection. We also cover an expansive ground curriculum that focuses on having a combative mindset instead of grappling to get off the ground.
At U-R.E.A.C.T.®, everyone can learn what it takes to survive the worst. While we have preset classes, our seminars can be tailored to fit a company’s needs. We will teach your staff how to work together, build confidence among your employees, and create a mindset to help them survive the worst should they ever need it. Defense Systems® has the answer! The owners, Jay and Joy Ackerman, along with several instructors from R.E.A.C.T.® were invited guests at a recent Realtor Safety Seminar at our brokerage and through demonstration and Q&A, we learned basic techniques that we are excited to build on through additional training. The demonstration was thoughtfully presented in a no-nonsense manner and the professionalism of all the instructors is over the top!
